Our River + Our Runoff = Our Responsibility
For centuries, San Antonio’s rivers, creeks and natural waterways have served as a cornerstone for our city’s history, culture, growth and community. As our population and developments increase, however, so do the risks of nonpoint source water pollution (everyday pollution from widespread sources across the city). Each time it rains or floods, everything left, dumped or tossed on the ground becomes a potential pollutant which can wash down our storm drains and contaminate our waterways.
Explore this website to learn more about the ways in which we create nonpoint source pollution every day, and ways in which we can prevent it. Help keep our waterways pollution-free - Remember the River, San Antonio!
